Passaic County Lottery Player Wins $858K Jackpot

The winning Jersey Cash 5 ticket was sold at A&A Retail in Hewitt. Another Passaic County player won $50,000 in the Powerball drawing.

HEWITT, NJ — A Passaic County lottery player walked away from Wednesday's Jersey Cash 5 drawing more than $850,000 richer.

One ticket matched all five numbers drawn, netting the lottery player $858,254 in winnings. The numbers drawn were 09, 10, 16, 18, and 29, and the "XTRA" number was: 02.

The ticket was sold at A&A Retail in Hewitt, New Jersey. That retailer will receive a $2,000 check for the sale of the winning ticket.

Another ticket sold in Hewitt won $50,000 in the Wednesday Powerball drawing, and a Camden County player won $1 million. The Powerball jackpot now sits at $258 million.
