North Jersey Man, 80, Had 1,000+ Files Of Child Porn, Police Say
Authorities are still sifting through the man's devices, officials said.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County man was arrested recently after an investigation found him to be in possession of several child pornography files, police said.
The 80-year-old Ringwood man, who police did not publicly identify, faces several charges following a search of his home, authorities said.
During a search of his home, police found one device with more than 1,000 images and videos of child sexual abuse material, according to the Passaic County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff Thomas Adamo said the investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to investigate other devices seized from the 80-year-old's home. His charges were not specified.
