NJ Man Who Covertly Recorded Children In Bathroom Learns Fate

The man also tried to meet a 13-year-old for sex, according to officials.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County man who secretly recorded children in the bathroom and tried to meet a teenager for sex has been sentenced to prison, according to officials.

The sentencing comes after Bradford Flaker, 43, of Hawthorne, pleaded guilty to several charges, including manufacturing child sexual abuse or exploitation material (CSAEM).

In May 2025, a person using the online moniker “Flaker," later identified as Bradford Flaker, connected with an undercover police officer who was pretending to be a 13-year-old girl.

After Flaker's account was banned due to violating the social media platform's guidelines, the conversation moved to text messages. He told the person he believed to be 13 years old that he “liked young girls.”

An investigation of Flaker's account revealed 115 videos and 12 photos containing CSAEM.

Further review of Flaker's chat logs indicated he had hidden a camera in the bathroom of his house to record children using it, officials found.

Flaker arranged a meeting between himself and the "13-year-old" to have sex in Belmar. When he arrived at the meeting location, he was arrested.

Flaker would later plead guilty to first-degree manufacturing CSAEM, first-degree distribution of CSAEM, first-degree possession of CSAEM, and second-degree luring.

On Friday, Flaker was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
