Patriot Zone, Student-Run Store At Wayne Hills, Is Now Open
The store is a collaboration between students, faculty members, and the Wayne Education Foundation.

WAYNE, NJ — Now students are serving students at Wayne Hills High School.
The Patriot Zone store is stocked with items made by students in the school's Transition Skills Program, along with office supplies. The store is staffed by students and gives students with special needs the chance to solve real-world problems in a retail setting.
The store opened May 4. Students work in the store as part of their Structured Learning Experience and are accompanied by a job coach.

Students also helped design the Patriot Zone. Students from the marketing, graphic design, photography, and television production classes. Marketing students created the store's grand opening invitation and helped students with special needs with construction and advertising.
The Wayne Education Foundation assisted with the store's creation and opening.
