Person Found Shot Dead Near Medical Offices In Wayne: Officials
A person was found shot dead inside a vehicle Monday night in an area of Hamburg Turnpike near several medical practices, police said.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Township Police are investigating after finding a person shot to death inside a vehicle parked near medical offices on Hamburg Turnpike, officials said.
Officers found the person and the vehicle within the 200 block of Hamburg Turnpike around 10 p.m. Monday, according to Detective Captain Daniel Daly.
The gunshot wound appears to have been self-inflicted, Daly said on Wednesday afternoon. Police officials said there appears to be no danger to the public.

Authorities have not yet released the identity of the victim, and said they are "investigating all possibilities."
