Phone Scammers Claiming Your Wayne Property Is In A Tax Sale

WAYNE, NJ — Township officials want residents to watch out for a scam targeting Wayne homeowners. The scam involves the caller stating that your property is in a tax sale with the township, and you're in danger of losing your home.

"Most likely this is false," the township said.
