Physician Receives Patients' Choice Award

Dr. Anthony Barravecchio has received a Patients’ Choice Award for 2012.

Barravecchio is a physician with Allied Medical Associates, a family medicine practice in Wayne.

Only the top five percent of physicians and dentists receive a Patients’ Choice Award. The awards are distributed to physicians and dentists who receive top scores on websites. Factors include an individual’s bedside manner and the amount of time spent with a patient, among others.

“I’m so honored to receive an award that’s based on how my patients view the quality of care I provide,” he said in a statement. “I strive each day to exceed my patients’ expectations and I’m grateful that they’ve recognized my efforts.”
