Planet Fitness Opens In Wayne Sept. 26

The fitness center will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The business will present a donation to the Wayne Boys & Girls Club.

WAYNE, NJ — Planet Fitness will open on Hamburg Turnpike Sept. 26.

Planet Fitness will be located in the Ramapo Plaza at 797 Hamburg Turnpike where Office Depot used to be before it closed.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. and a donation check will be presented to the Wayne Boys & Girls Club.

Planet Fitness has partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to try and empower children not to judge others and end bullying. Planet Fitness prides itself on being a "judgement-free" workout facility where anyone can go and exercise and wants to encourages others to carry the philosophy over into their everyday lives.

“We’re thrilled to bring our new Judgement Free fitness experience to Wayne, and we encourage everyone to come check out the new club, meet our friendly staff, get a tour and see what the judgement free zone is all about,” said Anthony Falange, the franchise's owner.

The facility will be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The 20,000-square-foot facility will feature cardio machines, strength equipment, locker rooms with showers, dozens of flat-screen televisions, massage beds and chairs and tanning beds, among other amenities.
