Police Investigating Theft Of Pumpkins From Wayne Farm Stand [video]

Dozens of pumpkins were taken from the Farms View on Black Oak Ridge Road, one report said.

WAYNE, N.J. — Police are investigating the theft of pumpkins from a township farm stand.

Detective Capt. Laurence Martin confirmed Tuesday night that police are investigating the theft, but could not provide further details.

Nearly 200 pumpkins were reportedly stolen from Farms View farm stand on Black Oak Ridge Road overnight Tuesday, NBC4 reported.

According to video footage, four people in a minivan made three trips starting around 1:30 a.m., the report said. The pumpkins are worth between $2,500 and $3,000, according to the report.

Owner Todd Kuehm said in the report that the theft was "frustrating." There is a $1,000 reward that leads to the thieves' arrest, NBC4 reported.
