'Pray For Rocco': Wayne Church Raises Funds For Teen With Cancer
Rocco Sivolella has battled COVID and was diagnosed with leukemia. Here's how to support the Wayne Valley High School freshman.

WAYNE, NJ — Things haven't been easy for Rocco Sivolella, but the community continues to rally around the Wayne Valley High School freshman.
Sivolella faced a difficult bout with COVID-19. In the midst of his battle, he got news that brought his life to an abrupt halt. As his symptoms worsened, he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia.
The Wayne Valley student is COVID-free, according to a Jan. 26 update on a GoFundMe supporting his family's expenses. But his fight against cancer continues.

Sivolella began extensive chemotherapy sessions and is under the care of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital in New York. Our Lady of Consolation Church in Wayne raised funds for Sivolella last weekend and urged the community to "pray for Rocco."
