Preschool Registration For Wayne's Preakness ECC Begins March 20

Find out options for full-day and half-day preschool classes at Wayne Township Public Schools.

WAYNE, NJ — Looking to register your child at Preakness Early Childhood Center? Preschool registration opens March 20, said the Wayne Township Public School District.

The PECC offers full day and half-day options with both morning and afternoon sessions. There are three options for preschool classes, the district said:

  • Three days class, half the day (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) in the morning or afternoon
  • Five days of class, half the day (Monday through Friday) in the morning and afternoon
  • Five days of class, all day (Monday through Friday).

Students identified as eligible for special education and related services are integrated into the program, according to the district.

All information will be posted at the Preakness ECC's website.

Parents must first complete an Application for Placement for initial entry into the Wayne Preschool program prior to online registration.

Registration for kindergarten and new first grade students ended Feb. 22.
