Fetty Wap Video Filmed At North Jersey High School Gets Principal Suspended

Wap's video for "Wake Up" features a teacher using a bong, a stripper twerking inside a classroom, and advocates marijuana use.

A North Jersey principal is in hot water after a music video containing drug references and featuring a scantily clad stripper twerking on a pole inside a classroom and that reportedly advocates marijuana smoking was filmed at his school by hip hop star Fetty Wap, according to multiple reports.

Zatiti Moody, principal of Eastside High School, was placed on administrative leave Wednesday while the district investigates the Paterson's rapper filming at the school for his latest single, "Wake Up," said state appointed Superintendent Donnie Evens at a school board meeting Wednesday.

The video also features several banners and posters seen in the video that have "Go Team Kush," on them, which references a strain of marijuana, FoxNews.com reported. Toward the end of the video, a woman, presumably a teacher, takes an apple from her desk and uses it as a bong.

Sources close to Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, told TMZ.com that the video is not about drug use. Rather, it's a reference to getting high off success and finding your path after graduation.

The district will hire an outside investigator to look into what took place, NJ.com reported.
