Reader 'Appalled' At Wayne Board Of Education Trustee's Behavior
Resident says it is high time for certain long-standing trustees to go.

Dear Editor,
I reviewed the most recent Wayne Board of Education meeting on public access television, and may I say that I am appalled, but not surprised, at what I saw and heard that confirms my sense of the covert hostility of certain board members as revealed by Robert Ceberio in the way he did.

May I remind the board that it remains of the People, by the People and for the People when it comes to public comment. And that despite Mr. Cebario's authoritarian world view, the rest of us are certainly entitled to posting lawn signs where we live expressing our preferences, including party affiliation.
May I also say that freedom of association is part and parcel of the 1st Amendment, which includes Sunday mornings, noon, nights, or any other day or hour that suits the People to peaceable assembly, despite Mr. Cebario's remarks on the subject.

Additionally, it is outrageous that Mr. Cebario used the meeting to verbally attempt to browbeat Kathy Kazan in all the ways he did, and I am disappointed that you did not put a stop to the tirade of the bully boy who shouted down and repeatedly interrupted Mrs. Kazan, who would not be silenced.
So far as I am concerned, it is high time for Mr. Ceberio to go. He has overstayed his time on the board. I can think of several more board members who have long since lost their northings and should likewise move along now instead of menacing individuals whom they disagree with.
