Retired John Wiley & Sons To Speak At William Paterson Commencement

William J. Pesce, the retired president and CEO of John Wiley & Sons, Inc. will give the commencement address at William Paterson University’s 192nd commencement ceremony May 13.

The ceremony will be held at 9 a.m. at the Prudential Center in Newark. Bachelor’s and master’s degrees will be conferred upon approximately 2,600 students.

Pesce was graduated from William Paterson in 1973. He was the first person in his family to graduate from college. He and his wife helped establish the Pesce Family Mentoring Institute in the University’s Career Development Center. He is a member of the university’s Board of Trustees and of John Wiley & Sons’ board of directors.
