A N.J. man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend this week, using a shotgun to blast through the glass front door, authorities say.

"All good, cuz."

It was the way a New Jersey man talked about himself as he posted his last photos of his ex-girlfriend on Facebook. And it had others worried.

"Are you ok?" a woman asked him when he saw Clinton J. DeGroat post the pictures on Facebook.

Degroat, 38, of Ringwood was arrested and charged for the shooting death of Sierra, 38, also of Ringwood, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.

At approximately 11:54 p.m., Degroat, who had a previous dating relationship with Sierra, appeared at her residence in Ringwood and had a brief altercation with a man, according to authorities.

Degroat left the home and returned with a shotgun, and then shot and killed Sierra through the glass door of her house. A shotgun was recovered near the scene.

Authorities do not anticipate any further danger to the public related to this incident at this time.

Indeed, Degroat's Facebook page gave others the sense of his loss, with him posing with Sierra as well as another boy who was not identified.

"If you need to talk I'm here," one woman said.
