WAYNE, NJ — The North Pole has contacted Wayne's bravest to take Santa Claus around the township.
Wayne Fire Cos. #3 and 4 will escort Santa the weekend of Dec. 17-18 — a week before Kris Kringle returns to leave gifts under Christmas trees throughout the township.
Even when Santa's in town, firefighters must prioritize emergency response. So fire officials advised that scheduled times are subject to change or cancelation.
