4 Wayne-Area Planet Fitness Locations Participating In School Supply Drive: How To Help
Planet Fitness and Jersey Cares are partnering to collect essential supplies for New Jersey kids for the upcoming school year.
WAYNE, NJ — A well-known fitness center company is collecting school supplies in the Wayne area to help the thousands of New Jersey kids who arrive at school in the fall without basic school supplies.
Four Planet Fitness locations in Passaic Co. are partnering with volunteer organization Jersey Cares from Aug. 1-18 to collect essential school supplies, such as notebooks, pencils, pens, backpacks, calculators, glue sticks, and crayons. The supplies will be given to youth between the ages of 7 and 16.
You do not have to be a member of Planet Fitness to donate, the company added.
