Shredding Event Scheduled In September For Wayne Township Residents

WAYNE, NJ — Mark your calendars for the next Wayne Township shredding event, where residents can safely dispose of confidential papers.

It will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9 at the Wayne Municipal Building front parking lot (475 Valley Road) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., said township officials.

It will be a rain or shine event. Residents must show proof that they live in the township, and are allowed the equivalent of four banker boxes' worth of documents.

"Documents should be in cardboard boxes or reusable containers, not plastic bags," officials said. "The boxes and containers will be returned after the materials are dumped."
