Expect cloudy skies and a possible wintry mix Wednesday, with more chances of snow in the forecast for tonight and Thursday.
WAYNE, NJ — Snow and rain showers enter Wayne Township's weather forecast Wednesday and continue into Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
After a slight chance of snow in the morning, warming temperatures will bring a slight chance of rain mixed with snow before 4 p.m. Then, there will be a slight chance of snow showers into the evening, the NWS predicted.
High temperatures will reach about 41 degrees on Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies. Wind chills are forecast to be around 30 to 35 degrees, forecasters added.

On Thursday, there will be another slight chance of snow showers between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., forecasters said.

Any snowfall is unlikely to stick for long, as high temperatures are predicted to be above freezing both days.

Wednesday: A slight chance of snow showers before 10am, then a slight chance of rain and snow showers between 10am and 4pm, then a slight chance of snow showers after 4pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 41. Light north wind becoming northwest 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming clear, with a low around 26. Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Thursday: A slight chance of snow showers between 1pm and 4pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 39. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 7 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 27. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 48. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph.
