WAYNE, NJ — A wet and ugly morning could lead to more snow into Wednesday evening in Wayne, according to the National Weather Service.
On Tuesday night, the National Weather Service predicted 2-4 inches of snow in Passaic County, with snow- and slush-covered roads impacting the morning and evening commutes in some areas. But the agency has since reduced its snowfall predictions in the Wayne area, expecting less than an inch to accumulate during the day and less than half an inch Wednesday evening.
Only two Passaic County school districts let the weather impact their Wednesday schedules, with Ringwood dismissing early and West Milford opening late, according to nj.com.
