Super Bowl Sunday Snow In Wayne? Here's The Latest Forecast

Here's the latest on when and how much snow might fall this weekend in Wayne.

WAYNE, NJ — The weather looks fine for the big game at California's SoFi Stadium. But if you made Super Bowl Sunday plans in the Wayne area, you might have to account for snow.

There's a chance of snow Sunday in Wayne, going from the early morning into the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. But forecasters don't anticipate it still snowing during the Super Bowl, which kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

And the National Weather Service doesn't expect much accumulation either. Here's what the agency predicts as of Friday morning:

But AccuWeather predicts a chance the storm will bring accumulating snow to the region, according to AccuWeather. And that could mean travel issues Sunday into Monday.

"At this time, AccuWeather meteorologists expect 1-3 inches of snow will fall from the West Virginia and North Carolina mountains, northeastward through much of Virginia, Maryland and Delaware to central and southern New Jersey, Long Island, New York, and southeastern New England mainly on non-paved surfaces, especially in the cities," AccuWeather reported Friday.
