Star Wayne Hills Receiver Earns Rutgers Scholarship: Report
Tyler Hayek learned the good news Wednesday after a call from two coaches, one report said.
WAYNE, N.J. — Wayne Hills senior wide receiver Tyler Hayek has been offered a scholarship from Rutgers University after putting on two excellent performances at Rutgers' East Coast Elite Camp.
Hayek said in an NJ.com report that it "felt really good to get the Rutgers offer" because he went to Rutgers twice and has been "working hard, really. So finally, I felt like everything was really paying off."
Hayek also earned an offer from Army Monday and another one from Stony Brook a few weeks ago, according to the report. He is visiting Boston College this weekend.

Hayek played his first two seasons of high school football at St. Joseph before transferring to Wayne Hills last year.
