Stop & Shop Unveils Remodeled Pompton Plains Store

Stop & Shop, a neighborhood grocer for more than 100 years, today unveiled its newly remodeled store in Pompton Plains (500 Rt 23). The store is now noticeably brighter and more modern and offers new features are centered around delivering fresh, healthy, and convenient options to make grocery shopping easier.

Highlights of the remodeled Pompton Plains store include:

· Expanded produce department offering more ways to eat healthy

· Remodeled bakery department complete with delicious cakes, cupcakes and other treats

· Upgraded seafood and meat departments featuring an array of proteins

· An updated deli department that features an expanded assortment of offerings including grab-and-go meal solutions

· Expanded dairy and frozen food departments offering a wider array of goods

· Organic and natural products integrated within the grocery aisles allowing customers to see all product options available

· Upgraded front-end with a new service counter and registers to maximize efficiency and minimize wait time

“We’re excited to share our newly remodeled store with our local shoppers,” said Denise Molineaux, Store Manager of Stop & Shop Pompton Plains. “We’ve added more of what our customers want and upgrades they need to get their shopping done faster and get back to what matters most.”

The store continues to offer Pickup, providing customers with a faster and more convenient way to shop. Customers can place an order on the Stop & Shop® mobile app or visit www.stopandshop.com, click on “Order Online” and select “Pickup” at the Pompton Plains store. Customers can then head to the store and have a Stop & Shop associate load their groceries right into their car.

Shoppers can look forward to giveaways and samples on Friday the 28, along with an appearance by Giants Legend OJ Anderson who will sign autographs that day from 11:00am-12:30pm.
