Three Arrested After Knife-Point Robbery At Wayne Hotel: Police

A woman was robbed and struck across the face with a bottle at a Wayne hotel last Thursday.

WAYNE, NJ — Three people have been arrested after a woman was robbed at knife-point and struck across the face with a glass bottle, police say.

An officer was on patrol at the Days Inn on Thursday when he witnessed two men and a woman "shouting and visibly upset."

The woman was crying and had dried blood on her lip as a result of being struck in the face with a glass bottle after another woman, Erin Dockray, robbed her at knife-point.

One of the men accompanying the woman, Frank Mandeville, was in possession of drug paraphernalia, and was wanted on a Sussex County probation violation. He was arrested for that offense, as well as providing a false name.

Another officer located a man walking in the Kohl's parking lot who the victim identified as someone who was in the room at the time of the robbery.

Nicholas Aguilar was then placed under arrest after he was found in possession of a knife and "four folds of suspected heroin." Additionally, Aguilar was wanted in Gloucester and Camden Counties for theft and child neglect, respectively.

Police were able to locate Dockray after a Department of Public Works employee spotted her and another man sitting on a curb near the hotel.

Dockray was arrested for robbery, police say, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. She also had a criminal warrant from Sussex County.

Mandeville, Aguilar and Dockray were charged on warrants and trasported to Passaic County Jail, police say.
