Garage Sales Galore This Weekend With Township-Wide Event In Wayne
Residents, charitable organizations, and religious institutions may hold garage sales from April 21-23 without paying the township fee.
WAYNE, NJ — If you've got some extra items lying around from spring cleaning, Wayne Township has a good opportunity coming up to offer it up at a bargain to neighbors: the Township-Wide Garage Sale.
The 2023 date is April 21-23 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (rain date April 28-30).
Residents, charitable organizations, and religious institutions may hold garage sales that weekend at no cost. They will not have to pay the $5 fee or apply for a garage sale/flea market permit.
And it doesn't have to be in the garage — just on your own lawn or driveway.

Those hosting garage sales will still have to follow township sign regulations, and not post advertisements for the sales on utility poles, light standards, trees, or on the right-of-way.
