(Vaccinated) Santa Claus Is Coming To Willowbrook In Wayne

WAYNE, NJ — You better watch out. You better not cry. And you might want to book an appointment. That's because Santa Claus is coming to Willowbrook.

Santa Claus will go the Willowbrook for photos from Nov. 12 to Dec. 21 this year, according to the mall's reservation calendar. He'll also take photos with pets from 4-8 p.m. on Nov. 29 and Dec. 6, 13 and 20.

Old Saint Nick still traveled throughout last year, but increasing cases and the unavailability of vaccines meant most children couldn't sit on his lap.

This year at Willowbrook, guests can sit with Santa or remain socially distanced. Guests can even remove masks during the photo capture.

Additionally, all Santa characters will be vaccinated, except those with religious or medical exemptions, according to Cherry Hill Programs, which is running the event. All staff except Santa will wear masks at all times. Wellness and temperature checks will take place at the start of each shift.

Willowbrook encourages making an appointment.

Here are the safety measures:

• Increased disinfecting and sanitation stations
• Increased character costume fabric treatment
• Reduced operating hours at some locations
• Active guest volume monitoring
• Queue separation to increase social and physical distancing at most locations. One line is available for walk-up guests; a separate line is available for guests who make a reservation for their Santa Magic photo experience at whereissanta.com.
• Directional signage is provided on location Walk-Up Guests: follow signs for Mistletoe Avenue; Reservations: follow signs for Candy Cane Lane.
