Valentine’s Day Shooting Hospitalizes North Jersey Woman, Cops Say

The shooting remains under investigation, authorities said.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County woman was injured following a shooting this weekend, police said.

On Saturday, around 12:45 p.m., police were called to the area of Market Street and Main Street in Paterson on reports of shots fired.

Authorities found a 68-year-old Paterson woman had been struck by the gunfire, according to officials.

She was rushed to a nearby hospital to be treated for non-fatal gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Passaic County prosecutors have not yet announced any arrests or suspects at this time, and the investigation is still ongoing.
