Valley, Hills Ranked the 118th and 86th Most Challenging Schools In New Jersey

The Washington Post factored in things like the number of students who passed at least one college-level test.

The Washington Post has listed the nation’s most challenging high schools and both Wayne public high schools are on the list.

Wayne Hills was ranked 86th and Wayne Valley was ranked 118th in the state.

A school’s index score is the number of college-level tests given at a school in the previous calendar year divided by the number of graduates.

Schools were ranked using various criteria, including the percentage of students who passed at least one college-level test in high school and the percentage of students who come from families that qualify for lunch subsidies.
