Update: Walgreens Application Carried to June 20 Meeting
Store could go on former Friendly's lot on Hamburg Turnpike.
An application to construct a Walgreens on Hamburg Turnpike was carried to the board of adjustment's June 20 meeting.
The application has already been carried from meetings in March, April, and May.
Wayne-Hamburg, LLC, is applying to build the store on the former Friendly's restaurant lot at 1235 Hamburg Turnpike. The applicant is asking for a use variance.

The meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the council chamber in the municipal complex. It will be broadcast on channel 77 and streamed live online.
