WATCH: Drone Footage Shows Wayne Flooding After Ida

River flooding played a large part in the damage left locally both during and after Tropical Storm Ida moved through the region.

WAYNE, NJ — River flooding led to detrimental damages across North Jersey, and the areas near the Passaic and Pompton Rivers in Wayne Township didn't dodge that fate.

New drone footage shows some of those flood conditions lingering as river levels remained high over Labor Day weekend.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved a major disaster declaration for six New Jersey counties, including Passaic County, Gov. Phil Murphy announced.

The declaration comes after 27 people died as a result of Tropical Storm Ida, including one in Passaic County. Three others from the county remain missing.
