Watercolorist Receives Prestigious Award
Joel Popadics teaches watercolor painting at the Ridgewood Art Institute.

Joel Popadics has been awarded the Silver Medal of Honor by the New Jersey Water Color Society.
Popadics, a Wayne resident, won the award for his painting Clouds Over Otter Cliffs.” It is the second time he’s received the organization’s most prestigious award.
A professional watercolorist for more than 30 years, Popadics’ paintings have been displayed at the National Academy of Art and Design in New York and the San Francisco Academy of Art. His paintings have helped raise money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and other national non-profits.
