Wayne Board of Education Announces New Assistant Superintendent
Michael Ben-David has been named as the new assistant superintendent for Wayne schools.

The Board of Education has named Michael Ben-David as the new assistant superintendent for the 2014-2015 school year.
Ben-David will be earning $159,000, after replacing Marysol Berrios, who was earning $166,464 before her retirement.
Ben-David‘s prior experience includes holding the position of the district’s director of secondary education. Prior to this role, he was principal at Anthony Wayne Middle School.

According to The Record, Ben-David served as an elementary administrator in the Paterson district, and spent 10 years as a teacher and coach in Paramus and Hoboken districts before coming to Wayne.
Prior to his career in education, Ben-David worked as a clerk in the U.S. Federal Court before becoming a litigation associate with a firm in Morristown. He attended Rutgers University and Seton Hall University School of Law.
