Wayne Day 2023: Live Music, Games For Kids, Giveaways And More At Annual Event

Food trucks, rides, vendors, giveaways, and more are all on the docket for this free event in Wayne Township on Oct. 1.

WAYNE, NJ — The annual Wayne Day celebration is coming up in October, promising plenty of ways for neighbors of all ages to gather and have fun, while visiting with local businesses and organizations.

Food trucks, amusement rides, inflatables, and live music are all on the docket for this free annual event. Attendees can also play games at the Vendor Fair and have the chance for some giveaways from local retailers.

Also, more than 100 booths will be set up so residents can visit with local business, civic clubs, houses of worship, and fraternal organizations. The Wayne Fire Department will be exhibiting many of their fire trucks and equipment, and the Wayne First Aid Squad will do extrication demonstrations.

Wayne Day is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 1 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Wayne Municipal Complex (475 Valley Road). It is rain or shine, and there is no cost to go.

The event is at capacity for booth registrations, per the Wayne Day website.

  • Petting zoo, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Balloon artist, 12 – 4 p.m.
