Wayne Doctor Receives Award for Kind Bedside Manner

Dr. Pat Audia, a Wayne resident, has received Chilton Hospital’s Physicians We Admire award.

Audia is a nephrologist, a type of physician who specializes in internal medicine, has a private practice at North Jersey Nephrology Associates in Wayne in addition to working at Chilton.

The hospital’s quarterly award recognizes physicians who embrace the hospital’s values of compassion and innovation.

“Dr. Audia is always calm, composed and is kind to his patients and nurses,” said Joanne Reich, Chilton’s vice president and chief nursing officer. “When a call is placed to his office, he always returns the call and promptly and is never too rushed makes you feel that you have to hurry due to impatience.”
