Wayne Goddard School Teacher Wins National Award
Angie Petrillo is pre-kindergarten teacher at The Goddard School.

Angie Petrillo, a pre-kindergarten teacher at The Goddard School in town, was named a national teacher of the year by the Goddard Systems, Inc., the franchisor of The Goddard Schools.
Petrillo created the play “Good Manners - A Medieval Quest for Polite Behavior”. The curriculum incorporates singing and dancing into a lesson plan about manners.
Students follow two knights on a quest to reinstate good manners to a cursed kingdom. The 30-minute production features more than 60 participants between 6 weeks and 6 years old, a full set, and Middle Age-style costumes.

Goddard Schools said the production guides children to discover polite behavior in a “creative and entertaining setting.
The Goddard School is located at 2086 Hamburg Turnpike.
