Wayne Has Passaic County's Best Public High Schools: Report
Niche ranked Wayne's high schools as the best in the county. Here's where they placed in the state.
WAYNE, NJ — Wayne Hills and Wayne Valley High Schools both deserve A grades, according to Niche.com. The website released its annual rankings for the best public high schools, and Wayne's placed ahead of all others in Passaic County.
Overall, Niche ranked Wayne Hills High School the 67th best in New Jersey, while Wayne Valley High School placed 101st. That may look like a significant difference in rankings, but they were both among the 131 Garden State high schools with at least an "A."
Niche produces rankings for schools and colleges nationwide. The website also ranks "best" places to live, naming Wayne the top destination in Passaic County and 121st best in New Jersey. Read more: Wayne Named Best Place To Live In Passaic County: Report

According to Niche's recent rankings, New Jersey has some of the nation's best public high schools. High Technology High School (Lincroft) ranked at No. 8 in the nation, followed by Bergen County Academies (Hackensack) at No. 9, Biotechnology High School (Freehold) at No. 21 and Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (Manahawkin) at No. 24.
