Wayne Health Department Announces Flu Clinic Schedule

Thinking about your flu shot already? Here's how you can get one in Wayne Township.

WAYNE, NJ — The Wayne Health Department has announced a series of flu clinics beginning in September and stretching through December.

All clinics will take place at the Wayne Health Department, 475 Valley Road. The flu shot is $15 or free to Medicare Part B participants not enrolled in an HMO. Medicare Part B participants must bring their card to receive the vaccine free of charge.

All participants are required to wear a mask at all times, maintain social distancing or stay in their car until their appointment time.

All flu vaccines offered by Wayne Township are preservative-free, according to a news release.

The schedule for clinics are:

Family Flu Clinics for Families, including Children 6 months and up

  • 09/25/20, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • 10/02/20, 3 to 5 p.m.
  • 10/09/20, 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
  • 10/23/20, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • 11/13/20, 3 to 6 p.m.
  • 12/09/20, 3 to 5 p.m.

Adult Flu Clinics for Ages 18 and over

  • 9/30/20, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
  • 10/14/20, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
  • 10/21/20, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
