Wayne Health Department Hosts Women's Awareness Screening
Scheduled for September, the female cancer screening clinic is for the prevention and early detection of a number of cancers.
WAYNE, NJ — The Wayne Health Department will hold a Women’s Awareness Screening in September, according to a news release.
It is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Wayne Health Department, 475 Valley Rd.
The Women’s Awareness screening is a female cancer screening clinic for the prevention and early detection of cervical, uterine, breast and colorectal cancers.

It includes a breast examination, pap test, urinalysis, blood pressure evaluation and a hemoccult test. Health education will also be provided.
There is a fee of $40 for the screening.

An HPV test is also available upon request for an additional $45. For more information, or to pre-register, please call (973) 694-1800 x3241.
Pre-registration is required and there will be no refunds or credits. Only cash or checks are accepted as method of payment.
Checks for the screening should be made out to the “Wayne Health Department.”
If requested, checks for the HPV test should be made out separately to “Atlantic Health System.”
