Wayne Hills Kicker Hits Record Number of PATs
Erik Martinez recently booted his 105th consecutive point-after attempt.

Erik Martinez kicked his way into the record books recently.
Martinez, a three-year kicker for the Wayne Hills football team, hit his 105th-consecutive point-after conversion in the Patriots’ 17-14 loss to Northern Highlands in the group playoffs Friday, the most in state history. It is also the fifth most in the country, according to the National Federation of State High School Associations’ web site.
Martinez converted all but three of his 122 point-after attempts since his sophomore season, NorthJersey.com reported.
