Seventh-seeded Wayne Hills is predicted to lose to second-seeded Old Tappan in Saturday’s state group championship game at MetLife Stadium.

Patrick Lanni of NJ.com has predicted that Hills will lose to Old Tappan 30-21.

The Patriots’ defense must take Old Tappn out of its groove and must play “disruptive football” if they are to upset the Golden Knights, Lanni wrote.

Hills must set the tone early and prevent Old Tappan from scoring at the start of the game.

Hills beat Roxbury by 21 and Indian Hills by seven to get to the championship game. Old Tappan easily beat Warren Hills and Wayne Valley in its first two playoff games.
