Wayne residents will see something new in 2019. Banners honoring local service members will be flown along local roadways between Memorial Day and Labor Day memorializing the name, rank, conflict served in, and photo of the service member being honored. The Township has initiated the program titled "Honoring our Local Heroes" through the Parks and Recreation Department. Residents who would like to honor a friend or family member can submit a banner request by visiting the Township's website: http://www.waynetownship.com/honoring-our-heroes.html, downloading the application and submitting the required forms.
