Wayne Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident: Police

Benjamin Boonstra, 25, crashed his motorcycle on Oldham Road just after 8:30 p.m., authorities said.

A Wayne man was killed Thursday night after he was thrown from his motorcycle on Oldham Road, authorities said.

Benjamin Boonstra, 25, crashed his motorcycle on Oldham Road just after 8:30 p.m., Lt. Daniel Daly said in a press release.

Boonstra was critically injured when he was thrown from his 2001 Honda CBR, the report stated, Daly said. He was treated at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson and pronounced dead there at 11:41 p.m., authorities said.

Officers from the Wayne Police Department and the Passaic County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash; authorities are still trying to determine what caused the crash, Daly said in the release.
