Results Inconclusive In Wayne Mayor, Township Council Elections
Republicans declared victory, according to TAPinto Wayne. But officials have not yet reported results.
WAYNE, NJ — Results remained inconclusive as of midnight in Wayne's mayoral and Township Council elections. But the Republican slate declared victory, according to TAPinto Wayne.

Passaic County officials did not report new results in the Wayne elections since about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. But if the results validate the Republicans' declaration, Mayor Christopher P. Vergano and Council Members Jill Sasso and David Varano would each get another term, with Jason DeStefano also joining the council.
