Wayne Native Wins Emmy Award for Writing

Tracey Wigfield shares the award with '30 Rock' creator and star Tina Fey.

Tracey Wigfield, a Wayne native, won the Emmy Award for outstanding writing for a comedy series for her work on “30 Rock” on Sunday.

Wigfield shared the award with Tina Fey. The pair co-wrote the series finale of the hit NBC show “Last Lunch.” Wignfield also wrote eight other “30 Rock” episodes during the show’s seven-season run. She’s also written two episodes of “The Mindy Project.”
