Wayne PAL's 13U Baseball Team Wins State Tournament
The team will begin playing in the middle atlantic regional tournament beginning Friday.
WAYNE, N.J. — The Wayne Police Athletic League's 13 Under baseball team won the Babe Ruth State Championship Thursday.
The team trounced Bridgewater in the final game, 12-0. The team played in the state tournament four out of the last five years.
The team will represent North Jersey as it moves on the middle atlantic regionals in Queensbury, New York Friday. The boys will face off against teams from Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New York.

The boys on this year's team are: Kyle Corso, Peter Botbyl, Dom Castiglia, Brett Tomback, Johnny McNally, Christian Puntolillo, Philip Park, John Krumbine, Matthew Krefting, Jack Byle, Zini Paso, and Cole Fauerbach. The coaches are: Kevin Corso, Sev Paso, Mark Krefting, and John Krumbine.
