Wayne Parks & Recreation Taking Registration for 2015 Middle School Ski Program

Buses will depart at 3:05 p.m., with lessons beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by open skiing. Buses will depart Mountain Creek at 8:45 p.m.

The Wayne Department of Parks & Recreation is now taking registration for the 2015 Middle School Ski Program at Mountain Creek.

Registration is open to all students who are attending Wayne schools, public or parochial, in grades 6, 7 and 8 on a first come,first served basis.

The five week program will take students to Mountain Creek in Vernon on Wednesdays, beginning Jan. 7 and ending Feb. 4, 2015.

Buses will leave at 3:05 p.m. from Anthony Wayne, George Washington and Schuyler Colfax Middle Schools. All parochial school students will be picked up at the Middle School in their area.

Lessons will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. and open skiing will follow. Students must be off the mountain and on their buses by 8:30 p.m. for departure at 8:45 p.m. Students will return to schools at 9:30 p.m.

To insure your participation in the Wayne Recreation Middle School Ski Program, you must first fill out the bus transportation form found here, remit with payment (cash or check made payable to Wayne Township) and return to Wayne Parks & Recreation or register online at www.waynetownship.com.

Bus transportation is on a first come first served basis.  When one bus is filled, they will take a waiting list for a second bus for each middle school.
