'Cobweb Cash' Nets Wayne Lottery Player $175K
This is one of the fast play games offered by NJ Lottery, and the winner caught half of the progressive jackpot in their web.
WAYNE, NJ — A lottery player in Wayne is celebrating an almost $175,000 prize in one of the New Jersey Lottery's Fast Play Progressive games.
"Cobweb Cash" is a $5 progressive game, and the NJ Lottery said this winner won $174,621, which was 50 percent of Thursday's accumulated jackpot.
The winning ticket was sold at QuickChek, 442 Pompton Rd., Wayne.

Price points for progressive games run from $1 to $20, and the tickets are printed out at lottery retailers. The jackpot gets bigger with every ticket sold for that particular game, until someone matches the winning numbers. The lottery advertises it as "a fast way for players to see if their ticket is a lucky winner."
