Wayne Primary Election Results
With no local primary election races, here's what Wayne residents will be voting for.

WAYNE, NJ — With no local primary races on the ballot Tuesday, voters in Wayne won’t vote for who will represent them on any local councils or boards, but will still cast votes for county and state races.
Incumbent Mikie Sherrill is the only Democrat running for the 11th District House seat. Rosemary Becchi, a Republican is also a nominee for the House.
Bruce James and Theodore "TJ" Best, Jr. will be the only two names on the Democratic ballot for the Board of Chosen Freeholders, with William Marsala and Matthew Conlon running on the Republican side.

Best is the current Chairman of Law and Public Safety, while James is the Chairman of Finance and Administration.
In the Senate race, incumbent, and former presidential-hopeful Cory Booker faces challenger Lawrence Hamm, an activist from Newark.

Hamm has been a relentless voice for civil rights since high school, when he spearheaded a student takeover of a local hotel to demand better facilities and an end to a teacher's strike. That display of leadership earned him an appointment to the Newark Board of Education, making him the youngest school board member in the United States at the age of 17.
