Wayne Public Library Creates Novel Book Club for People with Cognitive, Developmental Disabilities

All are with cognitive or developmental disabilities are welcome, even those who are not Wayne residents.

The Wayne Public Library is currently recruiting participants for a novel book club opportunity.

“The Next Chapter Book Club” offers a great opportunity to read, learn and have fun. This book club offers opportunities for people with cognitive or developmental disabilities to read and learn together, talk about books and make friends in a relaxed, community setting.

In partnership with NCBC4NJL (Next Chapter Book Club for New Jersey Libraries) and LibraryLinkNJ, the Next Chapter Book Club is a nation-wide program with a style of facilitating each meeting that empowers and encourages people of all abilities to experience lifelong learning.
