Wayne Resident Elected To Saint Peter's Board Of Trustees

Christina M. Shea is one of six new members elected to the Jersey City University's Board of Trustees this week.

JERSEY CITY, NJ — Saint Peter's University Board of Trustees have elected six new members this week, including one Wayne resident.

The members were elected for a term of three-years, which became effective July 1.

“On behalf of the entire Saint Peter’s University Board of Trustees, I would like to welcome this new, impressive class of members,” said Frank Fekete, CPA ’75, chair of the Saint Peter’s University Board of Trustees.

“This esteemed group of individuals brings an impressive range of experience and expertise to our Board, which is rooted in a deep appreciation for Saint Peter’s and Jesuit education. We look forward to the strategic vision that this group will bring to the University.”

Christina M. Shea, a Saint Peter's alumni and Wayne resident, was one of the six elected to the board.

Shea is an audit partner in the New Jersey Financial Services practice of KPMG, and has more than 20 years of experience in the audit field.

She previously served as the chair of the Saint Peter’s University Board of Regents, of which she had been a member since 2014.

Shea also served as the Regents’ Audit Committee representative to the Board of Trustees since 2015 and previously served on the New Jersey Society of CPAs Scholarship Fund and the Northern New Jersey Multiple Sclerosis Board of Trustees.

During her time at the university, Shea was a member of the swim team and president of the student senate.
